Janet I. Jenson, founding partner, has practiced health care law in private firms for more than twenty years, first in Los Angeles and then in Washington, D.C. Ms. Jenson has published a multi-volume compilation of Medicare Statutes and Regulations and Medicaid Statutes and Regulations and a Congressional Primer on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care Entities and other Health Programs. She served in Congress as the Chief of Staff for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives where she worked on transportation and health care issues.
Ms. Jenson regularly advises clients on Medicare and Medicaid payment and reimbursement, fraud, abuse and waste, state licensing and certification and other health care law issues. A member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the State Bars of California and Utah, she is a graduate of the University of Utah College of Law where she was a William H. Leary Scholar and Editor of the Utah Law Review for two years. She also clerked for a Justice of the Utah Supreme Court, and was the General Counsel for Utah's Medicaid program for two and a half years. She has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Gary R. Guelker, founding partner, manages the firm’s civil and criminal litigation. He has a broad and rich background in litigation and has represented clients in a variety of complex commercial, municipal, criminal and civil rights cases.
Mr. Guelker received his Bachelor’s degree with Honor from Michigan State University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from the University of Utah College of Law where he was a William H. Leary Scholar and was selected to be a member of the school’s National Moot Court team. Mr. Guelker and his teammates won the regional moot court competition and eventually finished among the top eight teams in the nation.
Since completing law school, Mr. Guelker has been fortunate to represent a broad range of clients, including corporations, governmental entities, health care providers and private individuals. In additional to his civil practice, Mr. Guelker also represents clients in white collar criminal matters such as fraud and securities violations.
Mr. Guelker currently serves on the Utah State Bar’s Young Lawyers Executive Committee, and is responsible for organizing Utah’s 2007 Law Day Celebration. He continuously strives to provide pro bono services for needy citizens and previously helped organize a weekly free legal clinic in Wasatch County. Mr. Guelker is a member of several civic organizations and has served as an officer on his local community council.
